New Orleans is a city of non-stop
entertainment. New Orleans entertainment scene is like a smorgasborg
for parades, festivials, and the arts. Known as a founding place of
Jazz, New Orleans entertainment does not just stop there. New Orleans
is a melting pot for different cultures and music is one of New Orlean's
richest resources and biggest drawing cards for companys to hold conventions
here. New Orleans has a number of spectator sports events to watch including
the New Orleans Zephyrs (New Orlean's professional minor league baseball

Mardi Gras -- Tuesday, March 4
Mardi Gras Season begins on the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6. Mardi
Gras is a time for parties, parades, balls and celebrations. The final
day is Mardi Gras Day or Fat Tuesday. This is held on the day before
Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, when we traditionally sacrifice
in imitation of Our Lord's 40-day fast in the dessert. Greatest free
show on earth! Many Mardi Gras Day parades begin at 8am and parades
continue past sundown.
